The repeal of the 2000 High Speed Rail Amendment makes it literally impossible to answer this question at this time. The Authority has completed the Environmental Impact Statement for the initial segment to preserve the investment to date in the project. The future of High Speed Rail in Florida presently depends upon any action that the Florida Legislature chooses to take.
