We welcome you to explore these pages to learn about the Florida High Speed Rail Authority and the initiatives that it has undertaken the since its creation by the Florida Legislature.

The Authority presently has before it two proposals for the construction of the first leg of the system between the Tampa and Orlando areas. A summary of the Authority's actions and undertakings to date can be found on the Overview page. In addition, downloadable versions of many Authority documents can be found on the Resource Library page.

The Authority last met on June 17, 2005 and at the present time there are no meetings scheduled. We encourage you to check back often for updated information as it becomes available.
