American Maglev Technology, Inc. 
Maglev means magnetically levitated and propelled vehicles. The advantage of maglev is that it can achieve very high speed and acceleration/deceleration performance because the vehicles essentially \"fly\" at very low altitudes - unlike trains or cars, there is no surface contact or \"friction\" to slow them down. More speed = more passengers.

California-Nevada Interstate Maglev Project  Popular
The California-Nevada Interstate Maglev Project is an effort to link major travel destinations in Southern California and Nevada with a super-speed, magnetically levitated (Maglev) ground transportation system. There is no other high-speed form of transportation that is safer, more comfortable, more reliable, more energy efficient and more environmentally friendly than Maglev. Additionally, Maglev within this corridor can be constructed within the same cost-per-mile as European style high-speed rail according to the range published by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).

Canadian High Speed Rail 
High Speed Rail Canada (Canada Grande Vitesse), a citizen's national advocacy group dedicated to the education on, and the implementation of, high speed trains in Canada. Founder of High Speed Rail Canada, Paul Langan states, “Its time for Canada to join the rest of the modern world and utilize high speed rail as a major transportation mode in Canada. High speed rail is good for the environment.”

Federal Railroad Administration – High Speed Rail 
Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is dedicated to improving railroad safety and rail transportation policy. The agency, which is part of the US Department of Transportation, provides railroad assistance programs, conducts research, enforces rail safety regulations, and supports the rehabilitation of the Northeast Corridor rail passenger service. In addition, FRA integrates government support of programs for rail transportation. Funded by Congress, it is the source of the $8 billion being made available by the Obama administration for advancing high speed rail projects across the United States.

French High Speed Rail  Popular
The TGV (Train ŕ Grande Vitesse) is the French high speed train. Of course, there is no such thing as the TGV; there are many significant differences among the 350-odd trainsets in service today, and the name TGV refers to much more than just the trains. Indeed, the TGV is a system which comprises train, track, and signalling technologies that when combined make high speeds (typically 300 km/h, or 186 mph) possible. The TGV system is owned and operated by SNCF, the French national railways, and is an integral part of French rail travel.
